Monday, November 25, 2019 12:30to14:00
Chancellor Day Hall NCDH 200, 3644 rue Peel, Montreal, QC, H3A 1W9, CA

A team of researchers from Université Laval is conducting a project with the Ministère de la justice du Québec to better understand the needs of Quebec lawyers in terms of training in new legal technologies.

The main purpose of this focus group, led by Professor Pierre-Luc Déziel, is to collect information on the challenges and opportunities these technologies represent for law students, professors and legal practitioners.

The team will present the results from an online survey for which more than 600 responses were already collected, and moderate a structured discussion with the participants on the impact of new legal technologies on the training of legal practitioners in Québec.

Lunch will be served.

Organized in collaboration with the CIPP and the Tech Law student club.
