Please join us as Rabbi Adam Scheier gives remarks in response to the exhibition, The Canadian Jewish Experience

For nearly 250 years, the Jewish community has made important contributions to life in Canada. In a new, multi-panel exhibition in McGill Library's Rare Books and Special Collections, this legacy is explored through themes ranging from public service and human rights to sports and the arts. The exhibition is supported by an extensive website, which includes an online quiz.

Rabbi Scheier is Senior Rabbi of Congregation Shaar Hashomayim. He is Past President of the Montreal Board of Rabbis, Vice-President of the Rabbinical Council of Canada, and Senior Rabbinic Fellow of Jerusalem’s Hartman Institute.

This exhibition was developed by The Canadian Jewish Experience.
