On July 3, 2019, MCLL and SCS will host Kappy Flanders and Suzanne O'Brien for a presentation on IMAGINE Week, a series of events taking place throughout Montreal from October 14 to 20.

As past and present Co-Chairs of the McGill Council on Palliative Care, Kappy and Suzanne have a long personal and professional passion for helping people think about death as an everyday part of life. IMAGINE WEEK, for them, is an innovative, creative, inspiring, practical and fun way to reflect on what we want at the end of our lives and to be unafraid in planning for. Sponsored by the McGill Council on Palliative Care, IMAGINE Week, will host over 50 activities, for people of all ages, aimed at sparking conversations, breaking taboos and harnessing the power of creativity to deepen our experience of life and enable us to come to terms with our experience of death.

The event will take place at 688 Sherbrooke W in room 1041 from 1 - 2:30 PM. A few spaces are available for members of the SCS Community on a first come, first serve basis.
