2020 MSSI Research Symposium - Landscapes & Urban (Day One)

The 3rd Annual MSSI Research Symposium will take place in virtual format on the afternoons of November 9th & 10th, 2020. Join us for keynote talks, panel discussions with MSSI researchers and a virtual research fair for students.

November 9th is dedicated to our Landscapes and Urban research themes, while November 10th is dedicated to our Materials and Transitions research themes. This event is free and open to all, however registration is required (please note you must register for day one and day two separately).

12PM to 1PM: Urban Sustainability: A Global South Perspective. A Keynote address from Harini Nagendra, Professor of Sustainability at Azim Premji University.

1PM to 2PM: Research Theme Presentations: Presentations and discussion with the MSSI Landscapes & Urban Environments research themes.

2PM to 215PM: CleanTech Introduction: An introduction to the MSSI's newest research theme.

215PM to 3PM: Student Research Fair: A virtual exhibit of interdisciplinary sustainability research happening at McGill.
